GL: Lake Champlain Holding Tank Regs.

I would like to hear the experience of transient Lake Champlain cruisers
the past year or two regarding the previously vigorous enforcement of their
unique overboard discharge capability laws. In the past, I could nearly
guarantee transient vessels would be boarded and inspected by any of
several enforcement agencies.
 
The past three seasons, I've only been boarded there once, by the USCG, and
they were not particularly interested in the waste holding system. Of
course, no one in enforcement wants to admit that they no longer enforce
the perhaps overly vigorous rules, but I'd like to hear from other
transient cruisers. Marina operators do tell me there has been a distinct
change in enforcement procedures and attitudes.
