GL: Knoxville to wherever

Let us assume Sandra has already encountered the largest rollers she could
possibly see on this trip, (around her home waters). When that 44 to 54 foot
Carver going by as fast as he can, they make a 5-6 foot wake with ease and
slowing down is never an option.

Sandra:

While I agree there are great risks attempting the Great Loop on a
pontoon type houseboat, take a look at what Larry and Joanne Haftl
cruised the Great Loop aboard. It is less than 32 feet, but very
well equipped. They had no real problems. However, they did have
one advantage you don't: they could move quite fast when they needed to.

I would suggest trading the houseboats for something a little more
seaworthy, not necessarily larger.

Good luck!
