Take a couple of moments and check out our experience with a 22' C-Dory

inexpensively) on our little boat for most of the past six years,
including major portions of the Loop.  A trailerable boat gives you
options denied to large boats, costs are less, manuevering is easier, and
you will anchor and cruise where others fear to tread. The smallest boat
on which you can be comfortable is the secret to lower cost and more
