GL: ThinkPad VS GPS parallel port connection

Rich and list,
One possible explanation is that the government has the ability to
put in GPS jamming in areas where there are sensitive installations
such as military bases (Norfolk), Nuclear Power Plants, etc. One
time when we were going by the Navy Base in Norfolk our GPS said we
were going 40 mph and we were in South America!
If everything comes back after 10 miles or so, that could be the
problem.
