Regarding my earlier post I should have added that there should be no
problem with the outside route and the St. Lawrence with the proviso that
the boat is seaworthy, machinery in top working order and equipped with all
necessary gear. The crew should have ocean going experience and each watch
should be manned with sufficient crew to avoid fatigue, there will be plenty
of fog at the proposed time of the year. It is all very well having friends
along as extras but each watch should be headed by someone with experience.
Bob Austin's remarks should be well heeded.

Re my previous post, I should have asked the size of your vessel before
suggesting other routes; You will have no problem on the St. Lawrence in a
77' foot vessel with a speed of 10 knots. If you need more detailed info
feel free to email me offline.
