Bob,
Bob Austin gives good advise. Our basic winter weather pattern on the left
coast of Florida will be winds from the easterly quadrants. As a front
approaches the wind will clock south. Just before the frontal passage the wind
may or may not go west but it will go NW as the front passes by. It will stay
there for a day or more, depending on the strength of the front. Gradually
the wind will lighten up and continue to clock back to the east. Normally you
will have several days before the next front. I'd wait for a front to blow by
and then wait an extra day for the wind to lay down and clock around. If the
forecast is good, I'd go for it.
