That wasn't Regal's advice.  They haven't incurred any history of blistering
in cold water areas.  He said if it occurs, even after the warranty expires,
Regal would take care of it because they value their reputation.  I belong
to the Regal owners forum and one thing they are united on is the treatment
they receive from Regal.

I'm still thinking it through.  I'm inclined to go a few months and see what
grows, if anything, on the bottom.
