That's precisely what the Regal rep. said too.  They have a 5 year hull
warranty but said it is, in essence, a lifetime warranty, because they value
their reputation as a superior boat builder.  They don't want blisters to be
associated with them.  He stated that they do recommend barrier coating in a
select, warm water areas.
