 I have made that trip a number of times.

 About the trip around the corner in Fla., I have gone straight across fr
Tampa to Apalachicola a number of times,  the last time with only my wife and
I. It was her FIRST over-nighter. (She really enjoyed it and was impressed
with the trip as a whole.)


I have also made the crossing direct fr Tampa to New Orleans twice. I would
not do it in the winter!!!!
