Don't over think your preparations. It is better to travel light and use  
local services to meet your needs. No matter how much you prepare, you will miss  
something. We supplied for the first 30 days and then "lived off the land"  
from then on. The most planning should go into charting, familiarize yourself  
with the route, target facilities/stops along the route, and purchasing  spare 
parts for the boat.
 
Sandusky, Ohio to Fort Myers completed this fall...planning Atlantic  
spring/summer return.
