Two 20# tanks would last quite awhile in
the service you are proposing.  I assume
that you will also have an inverter aboard
that would be capable of supporting a
microwave oven, which would be highly
desirable.  Many recommend usage of
pressure cookers to reduce power (gas
or electricity) demands.
