Secondly, we would like to attend church services during our trip to
maintain our connection with the Body of Christ. Would be interested to
see any list of churches in stopover towns along the Great Loop.

Good point.
We are in the midst of the Great Circle and use : masstimes.org  to find Roman
Catholic Mass times. It gives the churches ZIP Code or Area Code.  There is
also a telephone no. 410 676 6000

The data is provided by each church so it is advisable to call and confirm
service hours due to seasonal changes etc.

We use it every week.

Actually getting to the churches has been the most challenging aspect. This
country is not equipped for those without cars!! Public transportation,(
buses) are scarce and cabs, if available at all are often unreliable,  but we
make do. The circuitous route to Mass often affords us a glimpse of the area
that we would not otherwise get!!!!!!!!!
