Sinbadness: I am here. Waiting for cool stuff...
Question: Hey Sinbad! I worked with you last year on "ALL THAT!" It's
"Punky!" Worked on any good projects since we filmed that?
Sinbadness: You have grown! I am looking for a 20 million dollar project.
Question: Since Arnold is known as a tough guy and you a funny guy, what was
it like to fight him?
Sinbadness: I kicked his butt.
Question: Sinbad , this is Kevin Mahogany from Kansas City, Missouri..just
wanted to say " Hello." Hadn't heard from you in a while...I hope you
remember me...I used to work at Blayneys..in Westport....now I record for
Warner Brothers...when will you be back in KC ?
Sinbadness: I have had a lot of therapy since Kansas City U.
Question: Is there a toy like "Turbo Man" that you wanted for Christmas when
you were a kid--and did you get it?
Sinbadness: A jet fighter plane. A real one ... didn't get it.
Question: If not you -- who'd play you in the movie?
Sinbadness: Tom Cruise.
Question: I always hear you talk about being a huge fan of Prince. I myself
am a huge fan and wondered if you've met him or been to his parties here in
Mpls. at Paisley Park.
Sinbadness: I painted his new studio.
Question: Sinbad, How's your brother Michael? My mother worked with him a
few years back, her name is Cheryl Scarinci. She worked with him raising money
for the Good Samaritan Society. I'm the one that handed him the keys to his
new Mustang he won in the raffle.
Sinbadness: He is working with me now. I stole his car.
Question: First off -- you are sooo funny and a GREAT comedian! I was just
wondering do you have AOL or any other internet connection ?!
Sinbadness: If the question is if I am online, the answer is yes. I am
typing as we speak
Question: Sinbad, how do you feel about the quality of movies these days?
I've seen most of your work and it's always hilarious. Your new HBO movie was
fantastic. My husband especially liked it. Did you enjoy working on a
cowboy?
Sinbadness: "The Cherokee Kid" is my favorite project. I wish there was more
quality stuff out there.
Question: Best holiday memory? Glad you are here! Thanks!
Sinbadness: All of my holidays have been great. I charge for food.
Question: Have you ever worked with Dudley from Different Strokes?
Sinbadness: Who is Dudley?
Question: Sinbad, what has been your favorite moment in film or doing a
comedy act?
Sinbadness: Shooting James Coburn in "The Cherokee Kid." He was my man Flint
Question: Do you still like to do your act at comedy clubs now that you are
so well known?
Sinbadness: I still do standup at theaters.
Question: Sinbad, my favorite movie of yours was "Necessary Roughness." Is
there any chance of seeing a sequel? Brett
Sinbadness: I don't think so. I wish there was.
Question: I bought a Turbo Man doll for my son for Christmas after seeing the
movie. Do you own one? By the way, great job on your role as a crazy
postman!!!
Sinbadness: I couldn't get one and thank you.
Question: Hi Sinbad, I'm a big fan. Thanks for being here! Did you enjoy
filming your current HBO special?
Sinbadness: I loved it!
Question: Has it been hard for you to keep your weight down and what have you
been doing to stay trim? Didn't you have a trainer named Pillow?
Sinbadness: Yes I used to train with Pillow now I just don't eat for 3 or 4
months. No really, I started working out with martial artist Billy Blanks.
Question: What do you find more irritating...being heckled during your
stand-up routine or being interrupted by the director of a movie?
Sinbadness: I loved being heckled and I usually beat up the director.
Question: It's so great to see a comedian who is "clean." Just shows that
people can be funny without being filthy. When did you know you were truly
funny?
Sinbadness: When I started getting punished at four years old for being
crazy.
Question: I once saw Arnold spend the whole evening sitting with a Make a
Wish child and I know from that experience that he is a great guy. How would
describe Arnold as a person?
Sinbadness: He is really cool and RICH
Question: So...what is next after "The Cherokee Kid "?
Sinbadness: I am looking for a project right now. I want to do an action
adventure.
Question: How did you get your name?
Sinbadness: My mother gave it to me so I kept it.
Question: Hi Sinbad: In "The Cherokee Kid," it seemed like you and Gregory
Hines had real good chemistry together. Would there be any more movies with
the two of you? I think a "Cop" movie staring both of you would be a hit.
What do you think?
Sinbadness: We are going to do a part two together.
Question: What are your hobbies outside of acting?
Sinbadness: Horses (western),computers, scuba diving and anything else crazy.
Question: What is your greatest accomplishment to date?
Sinbadness: Taking care of my children.
Question: Hello Sinbad! What was your favorite role and why?
Sinbadness: "The Cherokee Kid" because I was allowed to do action.
Question: How tall are you Sinbad, did you ever play basketball at any level?
Sinbadness: 6'5" and I played at the University of Denver. I could leap.
Question: Does the fact that your father is a minister keep you spiritually
grounded and therefore make you unwilling to compromise your humor?
Sinbadness: Yes, plus the fact that he still uses the belt.
Question: Yes, Mr. Sinbad... I would like to know when you were in the
service, what you did and where you were stationed at?
Sinbadness: I was in the Air Force and was a boom operator (in-flight
refueling). I got my comedy start in the Air Force.
Question: Are you planning on going to the Benton Harbor vs. Battle Creek
Central playoff game this season?
Sinbadness: I hope to be there to watch Benton harbor kick that booty.
Question: Is your status now in showbusiness your ultimate dream, or do you
have another goal you'd like to reach?
Sinbadness: I think a man or woman's reach should be longer than their grasp.
So I have much more to do.
Question: Sinbad, you have done a couple of movies with Phil Hartman lately.
Do you enjoy working with him?
Sinbadness: I love working with Phil. I hope we can work on another film
together. I loved doing SNL. It was a dream come true.
Question: How did you and Oprah become such good friends? Do you also like
Stedman or do you ignore him when you come over?
Sinbadness: Oprah saw me on-stage in LA one night at a Luther Vandross
concert and hit me in my back for dogging her, dogging men. She invited me on
the show and the rest is history. I think Stedman likes my shoes.
Question: I thought I saw you years ago on the old TV show "The Newlywed
Game" That was you right? You were hysterical even then. I want to say I
appreciate your humor, it's very funny without being vulgar or offensive.
Sinbadness: You can thank my parents for that.
Question: Sinbad, do you prefer TV or Movies? Would you rather do standup?
Sinbadness: I love doing movies. I will never give up doing standup. That
is the gift that God gave me. But I want to pursue the movies for awhile.
Question: Is there anything you don't like about being famous?
Sinbadness: Not being able to hang out and just watch people like I used to
do and taking my kids somewhere to have fun and not have people run over them.
Question: Prior to working on "The Cherokee Kid" did you realize how big a
part black Americans played in the "old west"?
Sinbadness: I did that movie because of my love of the history of the black
cowboys and the relationship the blacks and Indians of the old west had.
Question: Sinbad, how difficult was it for you to learn how to do the quick
draw?
Sinbadness: I would practice in my bed all night long. Now I am truly
dangerous. But Gregory Hines was taught by the master himself, Sammy Davis,
Jr.
Question: Sinbad, I saw you live a few years back and you were great. Do you
plan to come out with a live CD or video of your comedy act any time in the
near future?
Sinbadness: I am going to do one of those tacky TV informercials of all my
material from the time I was 5 years old then I am going to retire to Vegas.
HA HA.
Question: Did you enjoy your visit to Bosnia to entertain us troops?
Sinbadness: I was truly impressed with the American men and women stationed
in Bosnia. God bless them.
Question: How fast do you type to be able to answer all these questions? :>)
Sinbadness: I use the delete key real good.
Question: If you were a sandwich what kind would you be ?
Sinbadness: A hot dog because I am a showoff.
Question: Sinbad, hey - you ever get your hair cut in South Loop in Chicago -
my buddy owns the place you went into. Are you gonna come back there - would
like to meet ya?!
Sinbadness: Yes he messed my hair up. I haven't been the same since..
Question: Do you drive yourself around, or are you driven in a vehicle with
tinted windows?? I can't imagine pulling up next to you at a stoplight!!!
Sinbadness: I drive myself around. I don't use tinted windows. I put a
blanket over my car and use the force to guide me.
Question: Who is your favorite comic actor? And also who do you admire in
your field?
Sinbadness: I love Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor, Red Skelton,
Flip Wilson (old people).
Question: Sinbad, what music do you listen to?
Sinbadness: I am a 70's soul man all the way. I will listen to jazz and rap
( for the beats).
Question: Welcome Sinbad! Are you enjoying this holiday season?
Sinbadness: I am loving the holiday season. I act like I am out of town so I
don't have to buy any presents. Pretty slick huh?
Question: Sinbad, when is your next live comedy tour?
Sinbadness: I will be in Vegas doing a live New Years Eve show for the Fox
network and also at the Tropicana on January 10.
Question: How do we know this is really Sinbad?
Sinbadness: Because who else would be stupid enough to sit around a computer
at 8 o'clock at night when there are women out there walking around.
Question: Will you be doing any more HBO comedy specials soon?
Sinbadness: I will being doing another one in either May or June.
Question: What's your favorite football and basketball team?
Sinbadness: The 49ers and the CHICAGO BULLS... they kicked butt last night..
Question: Hello Sinbad, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I loved you in
the movie "The Cherokee Kid." I think it was a very funny movie. Are you
going to do another comedic Western or any comedy in the near future?
Sinbadness: They want me to do a sequel and I am writing one about the black
Seminole Indians.
Question: I am from Minnesota. Did you enjoy filming "Jingle All The Way"
here?
Sinbadness: I loved MN and had a great time. Hi Tiny and Tiffany.
Question: Do you remember when you did a July 4th show at Camp Lejeune, NC?
Sinbadness: Yes, because it was so hot that the red, white and blue came off
of my clothes during the show.
Question: Sinbad, Chris Chaffins here. If I were to meet you on the street
and ask for a autograph (granted I'm 21) what would you say -- honestly?
Sinbadness: "Yes," and "could I borrow some money?"
Question: Hey Sinbad! I know you were an executive producer for "First Kid"
(GREAT movie by the way). Have you produced any other movies you were in?
Sinbadness: I produced Cherokee Kid and all of my HBO specials. My whole
family works with me on projects.
Question: What is you favorite food to eat? Is it McDonalds?
Sinbadness: Quarter Pounder with cheese.
Question: Do you still have family here in Michigan?
Sinbadness: Yes my parents still live there. I just bought them a house on
the lake so I can hang out.
Question: Hi Sinbad, remember me? Theo -- I'm one of the midgets you kicked
in the movie "Jingle all the Way." How's it hangin?
Sinbadness: Which midget?
Question: Saw "Cherokee Kid" twice yesterday; it was great. WHEN did you
film that?
Sinbadness: We filmed it in August. We did it in thirty days.
Question: Any New Years resolutions?
Sinbadness: To not make any New Years resolutions.
Sinbadness: I am sorry my time is up. I hope to see you in cyberspace
sometime. I am going to see "Mars Attack." Bye bye.
